I am on a waitlist at Clark for the Genocide Studies Program. It's a waitlist "pending funding" and I will hear by April 30. I am desperate to find out if someone else is on this waitlist. Or admitted, for that matter :-) I happen to know one person who just got a rejection.

this one is famous but I can't remember who wrote it: "Never really finished anything, except cake."

I applied to the Harvard IE Program. But I think there is no proof that this program is the best. It may be that the people who now have prestigeous positions had them before getting the degree, too, and just wanted to add a grad degree to their resume. If you look at rankings, isn't HGSE ranked 6th in the US?

My profile on the HGSE site says: Application Status: Completed on 1/8/2009 Yes, mine also says 1/8/2009. It took forever for my transcripts to arrive, I guess. I don't expect to hear until early next week just because last year people heard on March 14- 17. Three of my friends had a great time at Harvard doing their MEd. One is a math teacher at a private school now, the other works in admissions (undergrad)office himself and the third person used to be with Kaplan but switched to a smaller company doing similar test prep work.

Hi, I only applied to this program myself. My GRE score: Verbal: 690 Math: 610 Writing: 5.5 Undergrad GPA: 3.6 (cum laude) and I have another graduate degree. I have had about 2 years of full-time experience working but not in the field of education. I think that may be confusing or unconvincing to someone who tends to put clear and bright labels on things. ;-) I don't think any of us are going to hear before March 15-16. Basically, we have a week or so. Oh, well....
