  1. I wouldn't stress about it - I had similar GRE and GPA, great LOR's, and lots of research experience, and I got into stanford, harvard, etc. If your PI says your aiming correctly, trust them! good luck!
  2. you should apply to Harvard too! We have a great evo devo program!
  3. If you have not been contacted and offered interviews at this point in time, you have been rejected from the university. Sorry to say, but as an international with average stats, it's going to be very hard for you! I would try to work on your sop, experience, and try to publish before re-applying next year. Good luck to you!
  4. I'm sorry . I would not mention though, unless you need to take a call, etc. If you think it's wise to go, then you just have to be strong.
  5. YAY! Me too! Although they offered me Feb 1st through the 4th, but I am otherwise interviewing elsewhere - so, i'll see you on the 15th! cheers

  9. You likely have a chance - where did you apply? You might want to gain more experience though, 6 months is barely enPugh time to know where reagents are in a lab good luck!
  10. I would guess that to get into top schools you need at least a 3.0, and 3.5 in your major, AND have a publication. Although, if you get a top level publication (cell, nat, sci) with middle authorship and your letters are stellar, you probably could do without any masters work, Where are you applying, and how low is gpa? Good luck!
  11. Thanks so much! I was getting worried, but this is great to know. Good luck!
  12. Congrats on your interviews! I got a phone call from Stanford Dec 19th inviting me for an interview. Waiting on Harvard and NIH oxcam now!
  13. ^^^sorry trying to post from my iPhone . Yes - I heard from OSU Dec 16th with an interview invite.
