Anyone applied to social psyc in columbia or nyu?

I have actually heard the opposite about NYU...they like to get in new blood for PhDs. But that is in the Counseling Psych area....Social might be different. -
Invitations from Columbia, WashU, and Boston College (all for clinical or counseling programs). I haven't heard back from any Social Psych programs yet. Has anyone heard from Social Programs at Harvard, Yale, or Duke or UNC Chapel Hill ?

Has anyone hears anything from the joint Women's Studies and Social Psych at UMich?

Does anyone know if some social psych programs accept students without interviews? Or if some wait list you without an interview?
