The fellowship dates that I had been told by my department were wrong, as I received my email concerning the fellowships yesterday. However, according to the graduate school today was supposed to be the day they notify via email.
The dates I mentioned were provided to me by the clinical psych department. I think the March 8 date was when the grad school notified the department of the fellowship results, and the 14-16 is just when the department gets finished putting together the 5 year funding offer. So I'm not sure if this info applies to other academic areas
They are going to email us our funding offers March 14-16, although it says the fellowship results are supposed to have been posted by the grad school march 8, but I haven't seem them anywhere.
Congratulations! You're in the advantageous position of having good programs to choose from. And it's great to hear that you love Columbus and OSU. I really enjoyed my visit, even though it was 35 degrees and raining most of the time.
My background is in psychophysiology but I will going into psychoneuroimmunology. My research will focus on how serious illnesses, relationships, and food affect the immune system and autonomic nervous system.
Thanks! I'm going to withdraw from all my other interviews now. As for Tauren's not being posted yet, they may have rushed mine because I asked a grad student today if she knew when during the week I would find out so that I could cancel my other trips. I had the audacity to ask because I was essentially told during the interview weekend that I was my POI's top choice. So it could just mean that your application decision will be posted later this week.
My POI from Iowa emailed me because they lost my statement of purpose and wanted me to send them another copy. I figure they are pretty close to sending out their interview invitations.
I was recently invited to interview for clinical health at Miami. I have also been invited by POI to Ohio State, and Kentucky. Anyone heard from Iowa, Florida, or SDSU/UCSD?
