Does anyone know anything about Cornell? If you search at the results here, there just a few acceptances, and the first visiting days are coming soon (March 2-4), so I don't know what's going on!! thanks!

yeah, I'm waiting for MIT too! No idea about when, but I guess they're not done with acceptances. If you look the chem wesbite it looks like they send admissions 'til by mid February, so we still have chances!!! I searched offers for physics here, and they have given about 30 offers from about 700 app., so I guess for chemistry should be around it... (I guess)

Does anyone know how many acceptances does MIT offer for chemistry by year (aprox)? Also, for the ones who have been admited at MIT via email, was it an email from a professor or directly from the school? Thanks!
