the stories like these make me think how lucky i am. i've failed at just about everything else in life, but my girlfriend has been there for me since day one, rain or shine. i don't know how she really think about me going into academia, but she's been 100% supportive.

The results page shows that some have been asked to do a phone interview about their "aims, goals, and interests." What does it even mean? Have they been not clear about their aims, goals, and interests in their statements? -gia (I didn't apply there, but I wanted to know what's going on in one of these things.)
