If you're interested in non-profit work, I would suggestion looking into the AmeriCorps (http://www.americorps.gov/). It's great! All the people I know who have enjoyed their experience.

I got my email today at 4 (CST) after a day of despair, so I hope all of you who haven't heard just got a slow-moving prof. Congrats to all the people who made it! I'm excited to get to meet you.
I'm quite concerned about the funding cuz I heard it's not great. But I've always wanted to try freeganism

Sorry to hear about KU. It's a pretty fun department (I'm getting my BA there now). I didn't realize they had sent out letters so early!
I got a call from Northwestern today.
I just got a call from Northwestern letting me know that I was accepted. They said they'd email out more information soon.
