  1. If you are already working as a professor, why do you still want more education? I'm confused.
  2. Family member: "What? It is only a ten people program? And they still didn't reject you yet?" Me: "........." (i know that you despise me a lot, but don't need to make it so obvious. I really don't want to start a fight.)
  3. Anyone knows anything about the MS program of IE (Industrial Engineering) at Columbia University? How's the graduate placement? It is extremely expensive, and I'm just wondering if it worths it. Thanks.
  4. I didn't know about Virginia Tech or Georgia Tech, but I know there are people who applied MS IE/OR program and got acceptance from University of Michigan, as well as getting interview from Columbia University.
  5. Did you apply MS or PhD? When did you submit your application? I also applied to University of Washington, but didn't hear back from them at all.
  6. Hi ISEngineer, you seem to know a lot about IE. May I ask you one questions: I got into the master's program of IE in Rutgers and I would like to find a job after that. I'm still waiting for other schools. But I would love to hear more opinions. So what do you know about this program in Rutgers? Thank you in advance.
  7. I was informed that many MS applications in Chemical Engineering have been scheduled interviews with Columbia University. I'm wondering if anybody who applied IE hear anything from Columbia University.
  8. Does it mean that Rutgers is sorta good for the academic path? Even though, I'm more towards becoming an engineer.
  9. Anyone knows anything about Rutgers in the area of industrial enigneering? Is it a good school in terms of finding a decend job after graduation? Any suggestion is appreciated!
