Duke has an "official" cohort of 10 people now who've accepted. I'm assuming a few of these got in off the waitlist since they weren't part of the visit week. Last year I believe they had a cohort of 6. I don't know what this means for people still on the waitlist now, but thought you might appreciate what little info I have.

I don't know if this kind of thread will help or hurt, but I thought it might be useful if people wanted to post what offers they are, or will be (or are pretty sure they will be) turning down. My thought is that it might help people in waitlist limbo. Anyway, my partner will be turning down offers from UIUC, UCSD & University of Utah. She's still considering other programs, but is going to wait until after the visits to decide between those programs--the last of which, unfortunately isn't until the last weekend in March.

UCSD had 30% more applicants this year than last year. (Info from DGS)

Duke = ~21,000 stipend, + tuition, fees, healthcare.
