Congrats to everyone on the good news!!! I got an interview with MICA Mount Royal the other day!!. just felt relieved after a phone interview with SAIC that I think has geared me up for other upcoming interviews. But does anyone have any suggestions for an in person interview with MICA? Perhaps someone who has had one before?

I wouldn't worry... when I was talking to admissions back in late Jan. in regards to a delayed recommendation, they said that the Writing Department is one of the first to be reviewed. So it seems that each Department has its own time schedule.

I heard back from SAIC too!! But for the writing MFA....which integrates art as well. Their interview process seems extremely laid back in comparison to SFAI btw...although very excited I am officially somewhat frightened as well. Congrats to everyone's acceptances and interview invites!!! Trying to just stroll along with this waiting game : /

You're welcome...no not yet, I am going to schedule sometime today. Everyone is telling me that it would be more impressionable to Skype, so I'll just do that...what do you think?

@Kazoo...you have to remember how subjective art school is. I was just rejected by Yale too and I feel that it's fine to be down about it, but definitely not worth confidence shattering. Keep your head up and maybe work with the rejection somehow by making more art.

Just joined this forum... received the status update e-mail from Yale about 3 hours ago and am entirely too nervous to check, I think I'll wait until the morning!!
