I completely feel you one #1 and #2. I am scared I am going to be part of those statistics of students who don't end up with their PhD. But, gosh, there have been so many times where I have fantasied about attending UO during my bike rides home at 11PM or 1AM and I am just so thrilled and scared. I am just going to go through with it! I can do this, we can do this and just "wing it" I guess.

Who's going to the open house?

It looks like they sent out one email out and just "bcc" everyone. I don't know why they wouldn't just submit rejection letters along with the invite. I am really sorry. Although, the email clearly states that they are not done with admissions and that desicion notifications wont be sent out till mid-March.

I applied to UC Boulder because of their GIS studies. I am interested in spatial analysis. I had no idea it was so competitive. O.O

Hey, I currently attend UNLV, so I think that is why they gave me a priority notification. Although, some of my classmates who also applied haven't received any notification. As for some info about me...I am a double major in soc and math with a GPA of 3.67. My GREs scores are amazing, but my research experience (i.e. honors thesis, research asst, NSF) and professional experience (i.e. presentations at ASA and PSA) compensates for that.
