Why give up now? I haven't heard of any decisions one way or the other yet. Surely we should hold out at least through early March.

It looks like two of the results are in African American Studies, which is a different program, but it's hard to tell for certain. I'm not sure what to make of New England Studies...

Has anyone here applied, and heard anything, from Harvard's History of American Civ program this year? The results survey shows a scant two replies, and I'm taking to the forums in a feeble attempt to make myself feel like there's something I can do to have a slight modicum of control over the decision. So, anyone heard anything?

I applied to Brown as well, and from the look of the results page they haven't sent word to anyone yet. I'm also on tenterhooks about Yale -- I think I was a really strong fit with some of the faculty, had good GRE scores and did my M.A. at Chicago, so I was thinking I at least stood a chance. Same goes for History of American Civ at Harvard -- this has been an extraordinarily long few weeks, especially given that I've received three rejections thus far. So, you know, fingers crossed
