I'm waiting to hear back from Berkeley, UCLA, and USC and am leaning heavily towards USC and Berkeley. What do you feel like UCLA's strengths are? What are you happiest with about the program?

You may check this system periodically for updates, and if the academic department requires additional information or renders an admission decision, you will be contacted." or "We are reviewing your application. The status of your application is updated daily and/or as changes occur to your file. Because of the volume of materials we receive, please note that it typically requires 8-10 business days from the date of receipt for documents (such as transcripts) to be processed into your file. Mine says the second one. I keep reading that people aregetting acceptances after their status says "In Review," but I don't know what that means.

Congrats first of all, Sherbear! Thanks for the information! I'm so anxious/excited! It seems (based on previous forums) that USC is slow at updating the website. Did you by any chance apply for the Dean's Leadership Scholarship?

I wish I would've asked! Based on the Grad Cafe admissions results from last year, people who were accepted were notified by phone and those that were not accepted were notified by email. Hope that helps and good luck!

Just talked with someone from the admissions office over the phone and she indicated that MSW admissions decisions will be sent out the first two weeks of March!

Do you think all admits heard back on the same day or will decisions be sent out as they're made?

I'm getting so nervous now, considering I submitted my application back in October!!!

Missdanielle, congratulations!!!!! I think you're the first one on this forum to be accepted to UCLA's program! I'm still waiting to hear back! I submitted my application at the end of October for IFG and haven't heard anything from Lance yet besides that my application is complete and in review. Would you mind sharing what Lance's email said? Thanks!
