Hey Everyone,
So I had an informal interview with my potential supervisor yesterday and she said she'd definitiely be willing to take me on for September (yay!). However, at the moment she doesn't have any funding to pay my stipend with, and so right now it's a conditional offer.
I was wondering if this is commonplace during the whole grad application. At the University I applied to you must secure a supervisor before applying to the Department and I have managed to do that. I'm just wondering the likelihood that she will secure money for my stipend? She has applied for 6 government grants and will hear back in April-May.
