  1. Got my first rejection this morning. Thanks UCLA! still waiting on UCirvine, UCSD, CSULong Beach and MICA
  2. Anyone heard back from MICA? and are all UC's waiting till mid march? what about CSULB?
  3. thats what I have been thinking. I applied to UCIrvine, UCLA, CSULB, UCSD and just for fun MICA incase I wanna try out that area and New York
  4. I just graduated from CSUN. And was accepted to the MA program here as well. It is a great school for an MA program. Professor Samantha Fields is amazing teacher and she shows at Western Project in Culver City. The Sculpture professor Christian is awesome as well. I have 2 friends in the MA program for Sculpture and love him. I dont know anything about SDSU but I can definately recommend CSUN. I applied to 4 schools for MFA so CSUN MA is my back up. but maybe Ill see you next fall.
  5. I have considered claremont but I am not big on sdsu or fullerton. claremont is very expensive and if i dont get into an mfa i am just going to do an MA for a year then reapply for mfa. I would definately not go to Tennessee or anywhere in the south. I would possible apply to MICA or Columbia though. I havent decided yet.

  9. I have half my portfolio up if anyone knows what schools would be good to consider. As of now I am going to apply to UCLA, UCI, Long Beach State, UCSD, MICA, Columbia justinjsmith.com
  10. Do all MFA interviews have to be in person? what if you apply to multiple states?
