  1. hahaha unfortunately I AM American but it doesn't hurt to have big goals does it?? Someone's got to do it..
  2. Wait-listed at Wagner...happy it's not a no! I'm sticking with it, NYU is my dream school! Good luck to everyone out there on the waitlist who's sticking it out!
  3. I haven't been accepted but I also checked my application and the funding section went from "YES" to "NO" SO WORRIED!!! What the hell does that mean??? Did I bust my ass to get that application in by Jan.15th only for them to loose my application materials or what?? AHHHHHHHHHHH
  4. Hello all out there! I'm seeking the help of some educated individuals to help me make some decisions. I'm a graduating senior at the university of tampa. I'm finishing my undergrad in 3 years (not necessarily intentionally..), and will be walking at graduation in May, though i will be finishing up my final 6 credits with a study abroad in Tanzania this summer. I wasn't sure that i was definitely going to graduate early until November-December, so as a result, I had very little time to get grad school applications together / take the GRE / meet deadlines. So far, I've only applied to NYU-Wagner (my cum.gpa is 3.88, so i didn't take the GRE / didn't have time). There are other places I wanted to apply for for the fall, but obviously missed the deadlines (I think my GPA is high enough to not need to take the GRE, but a lot of schools said you need to take the GRE for scholarship purposes so I still want to take it). I haven't heard from NYU yet and I'm sort of basing my next moves on whether or not I get in. Part of me wants to move back home, work and either: A. apply to more grad schools for the spring semester (time to make some money and take the GRE) B. work for a whole year, study for the LSATS, and go to law school. My lifelong goal is to work for the united nations and lofty as it may sound, i hope to become the secretary general one day. So I guess my main question is, is grad school enough? Do I need the law degree for the UN? Should I still apply to grad schools and then apply to their law programs after a year (and pursue a joint degree)? this is all so new to me and i just wish i had more time to think all of this through! Any advice or suggestions are more than welcome and certainly appreciated.
  5. Ahhh you have no idea how much better that makes me feel! I'm still wondering why some people already know they got in though...the wait is absolutely killing me. Yep. I didnt submit test scores. I found today that i got in. Hope the same for you! :-) Let me know how it turns out!
  6. I have another question regarding Wagner... It turns out I'm finishing my undergrad in 3 years instead of 4. However, my school didn't tell me until December that I was graduating early so I didn't have time to take the GRE before applying to Wagner. My major GPA is a 4.0 and my cumulative GPA is a 3.88. I applied for the jan 15th deadline, still nothing back...is it because i didn't take the GRE?? Did anyone else out there not take the GRE? It said it wasn't required but... I'm so nervous.
  7. Some of you have already been accepted to Wagner??? I applied complete for the Jan.15th deadline and still no answer....should I take that to mean a rejection?? Some of you have mentioned a "results page" where / what is that?
  8. Hello out there! I applied to NYUs Robert F. Wagner School of Public Policy...it says on their website I won't hear a decision until March 30th but I'm wondering if anyone out there has heard anything? I'm so nervous...this acceptance or rejection will decide my future!!
