  1. I know Davis stat has sent out 24 offers so far, they plan to admit 14(I got it from a current student). I think they won't send more offers. I applied biostat group and I am still waiting. I am not sure if they reviewd the applications together with the stat department.
  2. Anyone hear back from Rice? Is there a sceond round offer from them? I tries to email them and ask about my status. It seems there is a glitch in their server andmy email cannot be delivered.

I am wondering if someone can help evaluate my profile. type of student: International student study in America(F-1) Undergraduate: Small Liberal Arts school in Missouri GPA:3.71/4 Major:Mathematics Graduate:The University of Iowa (TA experience) GPA:4/4; Major :Statistics GRE: V670(94%) Q800(94%) AW 3.0 I am applying PhD program. Program Applying: UCLA stat, Columbia biostat, Northwestern, UC Irvine, UCSB, Rice, Boston University biostat. Have a couple projects in time series, design of experiments and multiple regression. I am working on Monte Carlo integration and some computing project right now. All my math course are A except for Topology. All statistics courses are also A. Please help evaluate my chances! Thanks!

  7. Hi,I have the same stitution here. I am waitlisted by Umass and get exactly the same email. I also applied Uiowa and I am waiting for their decision after they interviewed me last Wednesday.
