  1. One specifically for the SAIS Bologna Center: https://www.facebook.com/groups/345542292161204/
  2. Not what you were looking for, I know, but I started one for those of us attending the SAIS Bologna Center in 2012-2013: https://www.facebook...45542292161204/ Do request to join if you'll be in Bologna in the fall !
  3. Looking through the FAQ from last year, it looks as though you just need to meet one of the following criteria to be allowed to do both at the same time: • Majored in math, economics, engineering, physics or chemistry • Minimum quantitative GRE score of 750 out of 800 or quantitative GMAT score of 49 out of 60; • "B-" or better in an intermediate-level microeconomic and/or intermediate-level macroeconomic course. Sounds to me like they're just trying to prevent anyone without a strong quant background or prior knowledge of econ from taking both at once. Students that haven't studied econ for years are probably the only ones who'd opt to retake intermediate level courses.
  4. Further indication that the Bologna Center admissions team should be sending out notifications tomorrow (Friday). From the admissions blog's comments section, Nelson Graves, earlier today, wrote: "As for the emailed letters, we plan to send them out tomorrow -- if all goes according to plan."
  5. I saw that post, but was hoping that "by April 6th" didn't simply mean "on April 6th"! Best of luck tomorrow, FlameLily!
  6. If anyone here applied directly to the Bologna Center, please let us know when you get hear back from the admissions department!
  7. Bologna's meant to be great! I know quite a lot of SAIS folks who did their first year there and they all rave about the atmosphere and the strength of the network. You made the right decision, I reckon. I applied directly to the Bologna Center, so I hope to be there with you come fall. Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks of applying directly is that you don't hear admissions decisions until early April. It's going to be a tough few weeks for me!
