If anyone is still waiting on SFU Economics , I called them up last night. The Graduate Secretary told me that they are about to start 2nd round of admissions, she doesn't have the list of applicant yet, however she said if I don't hear anything by Mid April that probably means that I'm rejected. There's a hope.

Still no word from SFU MA Econ... I'm international applicant, I talked to some people on this board and it seems like only Canadian students got their acceptances thus far. Also SFU messed up my application, they completed my file only on 14th of February, I'm hoping that it was the reason I still haven't heard anything from them.

do Canadian universities follow the April 15th deadline for admission decisions???

Did you get into MA Econ? Are you domestic/international? This doesn't look good to me...

Hey, akyl, congratulations! Nope, I didn't hear anything. Hopefully I'll hear smth. this coming week. I guess they mail out offers to the strongest candidates first. Am I mistaken? I'll PM you if you don't mind.

yes I did apply to SFU, UBC, and San Diego State. No word from either of them.
