  1. yup! just had pre orientation and registered for classes. for oyr.
  2. im going to pre-orientation on may 31st. im sure this will all be explained then. (or i hope!)
  3. did you have to register? i don't even know how to set up hunter e-mail account! lol
  4. did anyone else get the confirmation e-mail stating the school received all stated items and the registration for pre-orientation?
  5. when did you apply? i applied at the end of january and got my acceptance 4 wks later. good luck! (keep in mind that if you applied later- it will take longer because of rolling admissions)
  6. try emailing the woman who e-mailed you your acceptance. yvonne something? she has consistently responded to my questions and when i email and leave a phone number she always calls back
  7. hi! i sent in my deposit, and immunization forms about a month ago. i was accepted into the oyr program so i don't need to send any field placement forms- i also hadn't received confirmation but called today and they said that they will be sending out informaion regarding pre-orientation and orientation dates within the next few weeks. so hang tight everyone!
  8. my undergrad gpa was only a 2.9.. i have worked in nyc with high school students and young adults with developmental disabilities in a school setting for the past 3 years.. i applied to hunter, fordham and nyu's oyr programs (for those that have 3 or more years being supervised by social workers) and i was accepted to all 3 programs. its not like my work experience pushed my application over the edge- as everybody for the programs i applied for needs the same 3 years that i have.. my undergrad gpa was low- due to lack of caring too much about academics at the time... however, i had a very strong personal statement and great rec letters- which im now assuming carry a lot of weight.. so i wouldn't be too concerned with statistics of others- just apply and show your passion for the profession. best of luck to you!
  9. i submitted everything by the end of january and my status never changed until i was accepted.. i guess some applicants 'status changed before interview and even when final review is happening, but mine just said completed.. so i wouldn't be too concerned about that. you can call to make sure they have everything if you want, but i'm sure it's fine!
  10. my application was complete january 17th.. i interviewed last friday and was accepted yesterday.
  11. accepted to fordham (eessp) and hunter (oyr) program with clinical concentration as of today! Anybody else?
  12. i was just accepted into hunter's oyr program! anyone else apply for oyr?
