Can you get a loan deferment with a Fulbright Full Grant award?

Yay! I will PM you,I did not apply to Botswana but to sub-saharan Africa, and I have some questions in general. But wait, when did you hear back last year?

*sigh* this forum makes me anxious! With my finalist email (that said we could hear back anytime between march-june) I had planned to just hear back in June. But Now, I am constantly refreshing the email on my phone thanks to this forum ;-)!!! It'd be nice if I knew how many people applied to my region. My region only has one grant, so since they recommend 1-2 people per grant, it could be just me or me and one other! Oh well, guess we will find out soon! Does fulbright contact your affiliations that you have to have for a full grant application? I know someone earlier stated that the fulbright officials were going to talk to one of their affiliate organizations about their research project. Maybe I misunderstood.

So, this might not be too off! Since I was told by the program manger that sub-sah. Africa is generally in April, that is exactly what your stats predicted! And, it looks like early on in April, yay! Maybe I will know what I am doing before graduation day. thanks for your nerdiness ;-)

Did you try contacting the person in charge of Fulbright for that area? I contacted my person and they told me when, historically, notices were sent out.

What about Africa! When are we going to hear back... --__-- I hear that, historically, we should start hearing back in april --___-- So, the wait continues

Yes, I am in A2. I am also graduating in April with a BS in Biochemistry and BS in Political Science.

Hey everyone! So finally, I am posting! I have been following you guys on here (special shoutout to the person who applied from U of Michigan...GO BLUE! Anyways, I am anxiously awaiting. I was recommended, and my nervousness continues to heighten, mainly because if I do not get this....not sure what I will do post-graduation! Well...good luck! If we were recommended we have a 50% chance or better!
