  1. i got no money. i bought a lottery ticket.
  2. beekline, i recommend looking into taking the GMAT instead. That is what i did, because i definitely have strength in quant and just do abysmally on the GRE verbal section. the gmat quant is similar material to the gre, but different types of questions. the verbal was MUCH easier for me compared to the gre, as it is more focused on grammar and logic. many schools (including columbia) accept the gmat in lieu of the gre. granted, i have yet to hear back from sipa, but i have been accepted to other great programs and i am certain that a contributing factor is that my high gmat score more accurately mirrored my gpa than a low gre would have
  3. @eigenvector, thanks for calling! i guess i will just have to accept that for the next week or so i may not have an answer, and must stop compulsively refreshing the website. it cannot be good for my health! (easier said than done!) when a decision comes, it will come
  4. gleistman applicant here, have not been contacted yet. are there definitely interviews for short-listed candidates?
  5. @LIF, I am in your boat. At least Harvard handed out their decisions early (they were the first that i heard from!). This is how SIPA should have handled it as well: hand out acceptances/rejections and then say that financial aid information will be forthcoming. But heavily leaning towards HKS even assuming no money coming my way
  6. Is it just me or does it seem off that they are holding an info session tomorrow BEFORE all the decisions have come out? btw I applied for MIA with a concentration in human rights, and applied to IFP.... waiting, waiting.....refreshing, refreshing...
