Looks like it's a rejection year for me across the board. Still waiting to hear back from USC and Columbia but not expecting an accept from either. Any tips from others that have had to apply in multiple cycles? Gutted but trying to move forward. Sincere congrats to everyone that got in/have options!

Darn, just learned I was rejected from Temple. Congrats to those who got in! 4 more decisions to go.

Didn't get a clear answer when I spoke with POIs, just that it comes after the admissions decision, and I assume before April. They said they realize it's a pain to get the decisions separately.

Questions/themes I prepped for after looking here and Googling a bit: Why this program? How am I prepared for this program? Prior research experience - explain what methods and findings Proposed topic Feasibility of research Research questions Logical basis & significance of research Possible difficulties Notes on POI's writings that I had interest in working with What are my plans for the future? What questions do I have about the program, school, or funding? Hope this helps!

Totally feel this! 3 weeks feels like a long time. I received an invite for an interview at Temple; I'm very excited/terrified, etc. Just hearing back from one place kind of calmed me a bit, though. Wishing you all positive vibes and good luck! We do have a lovely group here ?

Yes, everyone has to do the Re Vera check. Does anyone know how you know the check is complete? I received a hardcopy acceptance letter in the mail a few weeks later, and was wondering if that was it.

I'm not sure; we had it on a weekend in April, so that's probably why they didn't mention it. I think they'll just do their regular orientation in August.

Just got a decision via email. I got in! ? I applied in the off-season (last October), so it only took a day to get marked as received. Perhaps you could give them a call? I'm sure they are so busy. I totally understand; it would make me anxious, too. Best of luck!

Yeah, I did the one school thing this year, since I'm currently working full-time. I'm so, so anxious.

Yep!! Been waiting since I submitted in October... ? I sincerely hope they don't take a peek at how many times I've gone to the portal to check...lol. It's getting unbearable though. The decision could come any time between now and the end of next week.

Still no word and my anxiety is getting the best of me, since I applied back in October for the NYC track, 12/1 deadline. ? I ended up switching to SF track in early January after speaking to the advisor, which is a 1/15 deadline, so if they stay within their noted timeframe, the end of next week would be the latest I could hear back from them. Still losing my mind though. LOL.

Not yet. Did end up switching program paths, so it's likely I'll hear back in the next few weeks.

Any other applicants here? Did anyone hear from Columbia Strat Comm yet for F19? Thanks!
