I had a 160 in VR, have had two publications one of which I am first author, a 115 page Master's thesis, a couple of kickass personal statements, and a 3 on my AW. I took the GRE twice and got a 160 in VR twice but I got a 4 in the first GRE. I wasn't particularly happy with the 4 but it demonstrates the subjective nature of the AW section of the GRE. Only one of the five schools to which I applied even mentions the AW part of the GRE. If everything else is good, no sweating this out, I'm talking to myself almost as much as I am talking to you.

Haven't heard a peep from any of the 5 schools to which I applied.

I'm in a similar place (and am a local living in the far western 'burbs.) Just got my MS in Biology in August, applications to UPenn, Jefferson, Drexel, Temple Biology and Temple Pharmacology. GPA of 3.6 undergrad and 3.5 grad. 2 publications with 1 first authorship 2 more papers in the process. GRE is my weakness with 150 q and 160 v. Have not heard a single peep from anyone and don't know what I should do about my circumstances.

New here I am finished my application to UPenn and Temple working on Jefferson and Temple Pharmacology and need to get off my ass and start Drexel's apps.

This is my first post but I made the same mistake and I'm being waitlisted. Part of my motivation for applying to one school is the family. I will not move my family away from their schools and work for my own goals. If I don't get in this year, I'll reapply (anticipating a slight increase in GPA and had another paper published last week and I will re-take the GRE.)
