I applied to u of a and i got the unofficial letter in the first week of april - but i still havent got the official acceptance letter - im starting to get worried - i e-mailed shona but she never replied....

I e-mailed them and they said that we are suppose to get our official letter for FGSR at the end of April - and the end of April already passed so i'm not too sure what's going on? @P1charkraborty did u receive any funding offer from uofa?

i'm still leaning towards UofA - i just wished they paid for our practicum - i know uofSask gives you a $7000.00 stipend during your practicum but uofa doesn't give you anything..

I'm not sure I didn't ask - but if it helps at all they said they are weighing your references, grades and personal statement of interest all equally and they are looking more at your senior level courses and what types of courses you took

@ Smk17: I just called them today and they said that they are in the midst of making their final decisions and they sent out acceptances last week, this week and next week along with rejections

@ Rainbowbrite I called them yesterday and they said they've made their final decisions and we should hear back from them in the middle of April.

i'm waiting to hear back from u of t health promo too!! so nerve racking! My friend applied last year and she got waitlisted and they hadn't even told her if she got in or not till June!! If you don't mind me asking what were ur GPA's/experiences for those who applied to u of t health promo?
