I got my letter from Austria at 1:21pm, and they placed me in Spittal an der Drau.

Woo! So I just found out that, in addition to being accepted for Germany, I have been accepted for Austria and they already told me the schools I would work for. If I choose to accept the Austrian award and work there instead of Germany, I have to send in my acceptance letter by April 20. In Austria, I'd be working in the middle of the alps in a small city close to Italy and Slovenia....which would be beautiful, but my heart is already here in Bavaria. Do y'all think it would be too pushy/rude to email the German Fulbright Board and ask when we will know exactly which schools we will be sent to?

Hi y'all, I've followed this forum on an off for the last two years and am now happy to post for the first time and say that I found out on Wednesday, March 28 that I got the ETA award for Germany! Has anyone received the letter with the details about exactly when and where we will be working? Are there others still waiting to hear back from Austria?
