Agreed, but from the tone conveyed about the phone call with Pam, it sounds like they are expecting further waits for CA. What's your project and where in Honduras are you hoping to work?

It is a little nerve-racking to have plans so up-in-the-air, but I'm gonna play the optimist and say that they will come this week. I'm betting tomorrow or Wednesday. Why? Because.

I also heard back from Pam yesterday. The text of the email follows, verbatim, from what others have posted. It sounds like she is fielding a lot of questions about the same thing. She was super nice, though. Hmm, I'd loved to forget about it and be pleasantly surprised when I do hear back, but my graduate school and medical school are looking for answers concerning my plans for this coming year. Le Sigh...I have "plans" but you know what they say about the best laid scheme's o' mice an' men right? Cross your fingers, everyone. At least we're waiting for a good thing. There are so many more unpleasant things to be waiting for or caught in limbo for. At least it's not a medical test result or something like that, right? Happy weekend, people.
