hello guys,
This is really important to me so it would be lovely if you guys can give me some insight. I have gotten accepted to some of the most amazing graduate advertising programs including michigan state. uni of florida. BU. Newschool (media management) and USC (strategic PR)
I am an undergraduate in film and an international student who has applied to advertising. All these universities are coming down to the same cost for me, so technically that is not the issue here anymore. The thing is i am a having an uber hard time deciding anything really, so it would be amazing if you can give me some insight plz!!
BU
PROS:
Advertising program as well as PR
their comm dept consists of filmmaking/advertising/radio so i can take electives in anything (maybe film so i can stay connected)
Boston good job prospects around newyorrk and BU itself.
its the educational hub.
AD-LAB
CON:
- bad bad bad weather
- no proper campus (bt i actually like the city feel)
USC
PROS:
the name of course.
california (my entire family lives there, jobs in good places)
weather
CONS:
strategic PR seems to dry for me, i wanna study something creative & adv in boston has design classes as well as video campaigns as well.
NEW SCHOOL
PROS
Newyork (good connections)
its pretty popular
i like the couse (media amangement)
CONS:
seemed very liberal artsy on their Skype meet
this program itself is very new. it used to be a diploma before.
no adv/pr stuff.
And should i even consider university of florida???
Please let me know. any advice if you guys have been to the following schools or anything.
