Kellysigh Posted February 9, 2018 Share Posted February 9, 2018 I applied for a Ph.D. program at Vanderbilt for Fall 2018 and was offered interviews from the program admissions committee. The coordinator scheduled interviews with four faculty member (one is POI and the other three profs are admissions committee member), all individual skype interviews. This is my first time getting schedule like this for a Ph.D. program interview and I was wondering if anyone has had this kind of experience. Four individual interviews.. this is intense! GreenEyedTrombonist Posted February 9, 2018 Share Posted February 9, 2018 That is intense, but many programs that do in-person interviews tend to have this many (or more). For me, I just had an interview today. I found out when it started that it would be with three of the faculty (including department chair) and not just with the PoI who reached out to me.
