What is the main difference between pursuing grad. studies in North America or Europe regarding to research culture, future opportunities. student life,....etc (Electrical and Computer Engineering)?

I am a student from Europe and was wondering about the same thing.

However I chose the U.S. because I believe it has more possibilities post-graduation and also better funding options. Also, I think that the development of technology and computer science overall in the States is not even comparable to the one in Europe. Especially at Masters level, US schools offer way more research possibilities. However that being said, you should definitely do your research and choose. I advise you to look at the schools and what they offer. There are a couple of great schools in Europe.

And also, in my opinion you will most probably be able to get a job in Europe with a Us degree, but I am not sure if vice-versa will be possible.
