Short notice on interview

Hi everyone,

I've got a question this morning. I just got contacted via email for an in person interview. The only thing is that they want me to come out this Friday (no mention made about if I pay for this or they do). I live 2000 miles away from the school and work full time so I'm not sure if I can even get the days off.

Any thoughts on this situation? What would you do?

I would just tell them your situation and ask if you could come in at a later date.

I was in this situation - 3 days notice to come in for an interview 4 hours away - and told them I had other obligations and would be willing to either reschedule or do a phone interview. They were able to push the date back 2 weeks.
