Does anyone know about biostatistic programs in Canada and how they are viewed in the academic/research field? Specifically McGill/uoft/waterloo.

From what I have found

McGill - some good professors (highly cited/good journals). Students are competitive in top PhD programs like Harvard/UNC/UW/JH .

DLSPH- The school itself is at top public health school in the world. The statistics department at u of t is highly regarded as well. I do not know a lot about the biostatistics program, however, seems very applied.

Waterloo - Heard this program is the best in terms of training (though not necessarily global reputation). People who work in the field have told me that Waterloo graduates are highly skilled.
