statscan9 Posted April 22, 2018 Share Posted April 22, 2018 Doesn't look like anyone made one of these threads this year, so I guess I'll make one now even though first round offers have gone out. I've been placed as alternate status at Toronto, and the department told me I was ranked "very highly". Is there any way to find out exactly how many people are gonna have to decline their offer for my status to change? Don't want to remain hopeful if there's no chance lol. GuelphArtHistory Posted April 23, 2018 Share Posted April 23, 2018 (edited) I'm waitlisted at Guelph. Basically there's no way to know your ranking unfortunately. Seems some people have luck with their departments or grad offices telling them if they're highly ranked and giving a couple days notice that they'll get an offer, but that's pretty uncommon.
