CSUF summer school for post bacc?

Is it worth it to take 2-4 courses in the summer to try to finish the program earlier? It's crazy expensive and wondering if taking summer school affects the cost of tuition in anyway. Do they deduct the courses (is tuition by semester or courses)? Will I be paying the same amount in the end? Not sure when applications for MS/MA programs start and how it would affect that?
