Im an undergrad majoring in Economics and I am thinking of applying to IPED, but I'm not sure if I can get in because I don't have any experience in the peace corp or any other service job..
But I think I have a good background otherwise, president of my uni's economics club, I'm the economics department representative for our uni's student senate, presented economic research at many conferences and won awards for it, have completed 15 other economics research projects as well. I studied abroad in Japan for a year, model UN twice, worked as a student ambassador for my university's business program, and this summer I will be interning at my states department of revenue economics forecasting office, and some other stuff... but I'm not sure if that is good enough for IPED without work experience in development.
Any insight into my situation would be much appreciated!
