pea-jay Posted March 12, 2010 Share Posted March 12, 2010 About 25,640 blocks to cover the 1282 miles to Winnipeg. But those are the short, dinky N-S blocks along the Avenues. Using the longer E-W blocks along the Streets you only get 7692 blocks between NYC and the Great White North (6 blocks per mile). Or to put it in other NY terms, Winnipeg would be about 3127 Local Subway Stops away based on IRT Spacing.
