I've looked online and on this forum, but have found very little describing the experiences of the PhD program in Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education at University of Washington. Is there anyone that has applied to this program, how well known is it/are the faculty in this department, or any other details about the program as a whole?
I have looked at the course curriculum, and am interested in many of the courses, but am worried that I won't get the core CS backing that I'd likely need to work in the field. I am a computer science major thus far, but have done most of my work in BMI. Please let me know what your experiences were like. Thanks!
