Is there anyone going there or does anyone know how good it is?

I'll be going there but as a CS PhD student, not HCI. Although I'll definitely try to do some collaborative work with the people in HCI. In my opinion, Gatech's HCI is right up there with CMU and MIT. As far as I can see, they have excellent placement record for their PhD graduates.

GAtech doesn't have a HCI Ph. D though, only a CS/Hci hybrid though...

so I'll probably be going to CMU, but I've heard good things about the gTech HCC program.

I wonder how funding might/not work as a MS? I'm not sure if GATech goes under the top 10 schools thread...?

Now I'm choosing between Stanford and Georgia Tech for HCI - I hate the fact that Stanford has the name and fame but not much more besides it!
