Should I reapply to a school where I was waitlisted?

I was waitlisted at The University of Chicago last year, when I applied to their PhD program in Statistics. I'm not sure if this actually means something or not. Any opinion or advise is well received

I don't see why not. A lot of people reapply to schools that previously rejected them. If you were waitlisted the first time, you must have been a pretty strong candidate, so you might get lucky this time around.

I would think it’d be okay but change/ add your application to show why now.
