I noticed their website indicates a 3.5 GPA cutoff. Any idea if I would be automatically dinged with my situation? Or would this be considered "rounded up" since it's quite close? Wasn't sure if there were any exceptions.

I would contact their office directly and ask them the same questions you are asking us. Also - Is there a section in the application where you can add additional information and explain your situation… For example, maybe why you had a bad semester ?
