clinicalpsych243050 Posted December 15, 2018 Posted December 15, 2018 Hi everyone, as a back up I would like to start looking for post- baccalaureate programs in psychology, I noticed there is a lot for the biological sciences but I can't seem to find a lot for psychology. Has anyone done a post-bacc and how did you guys find them?
Eanertodt Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Hello! The university of Pittsburgh has an excellent psychology post bacc program!! It’s so amazing - I attended this one. I’ve also heard that Northwestern, UC Berkeley and UC Irvine and more. I started my search for post baccs using apa - https://www.apa.org/ed/precollege/psn/2014/09/post-baccalaureate.aspx hopefully this helps! clinicalpsych243050 1
StartingtheProcess83298353 Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 I believe UPenn also has one as well as the American College in (of?) Greece. clinicalpsych243050 1
paraent Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 (edited) Should look at job listings at different universities. Many labs are looking for lab managers and research specialists and that's often the postbac path to building one's resume for psychology grad school admissions. Anna Schapiro at UPenn for instance is looking right now for a lab manager/research specialist. Edited December 24, 2018 by paraent clinicalpsych243050 1
