hverb85 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Hi all, I'm interested in applying for the NYU or Emerson distance learning programs as a part-time student. However, looking at the part time schedule, it seems insane! Full time is 4 classes, part time is still 3 classes. It's barely less work. I need part time for flexibility, as I have a family and a spouse that works full time and is taking online classes himself. Has anyone done either of these programs part time and can comment on how manageable the workload is? I am especially worried about semesters with clinical practicum, as Emerson said you need to be prepared to work 3-5 days full time hours, in addition to 2-3 other classes.
Toya Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 I am curious about this as well. I am applying to Emerson and NYU.
