"Still under consideration" for Clinical Psychology PhD

So I've reached out to a few of my schools, and they said there's still a possibility they will reach out to more applicants after the first round of interviews. I've been told my application is still under consideration, and that they have definitely dipped back into the applicant pool in previous years. I guess I'm wondering how often this happens, what the chances are, etc. Has anyone else received the same feedback? Any current Clinical Psychology PhD students who got into programs they initially did not receive an interview for? This waiting game is awful!

I know it's stressful, but there's really no stats on this. It all depends on whether or not they find enough people they like during the 1st round of interviews, and after that, if enough students don't accept their admission offer. I wouldn't write the school off, but I also wouldn't get my hopes up (at least try not too, I know it's hard).

Thanks, this has been a very stressful process. I'm going to assume no...that way if I do hear anything, it would be a very pleasant surprise.
