eric*indigo Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 (edited) Hey dudes! I want to hear more about how your MFA Acting audition and everything for 2019 is going on! And, I want to hear from current MFA Actors or anyone that how do you think of PACE MFA Acting (the Actors Studio Drama School) among top MFA Acting programs in US? Absolutely Yale could be a one of best schools, I agree.. but how's the output or status of PACE in grad acting world comparing to others comparing to others? (ex. Calarts, UW or more) Hoping to hear from many of you! Edited February 4, 2019 by eric*indigo
thegodwithinher Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Obviously you do not need a degree to be a working actor. And it doesn't matter what school you go to it matters how you take the training. But at the end of the day Yale, NYU, Juillaird & ACT even Brown put out more working actors from these grad programs. I heard through the grapevine that an alumni from my university is in the actors studio and he is not enjoying his time there. If you're apply to grad school focus on location, training and post grad opportunities. also here is a link to a really cool list of shows premiering and how many leads have grad acting degrees and from whats schools compared to those that don't.
