I know this post is merely hours away from deadline but I am still torn between these two options. Can anyone give any inputs? Is Emory worth the extra money?

I think more information might be helpful for people to help you decide. What field are you in? What offers are you considering?  How do you feel about the location of the places you're considering?

I have been offered an MS in Biostatistics by both of these Universities. From what I have researched the University of Minnesota is a higher ranked biostatistics program but Emory is the better ranked public health school. I have heard some negative comments regarding the weather of Minnesota and that some of the reputed faculty members were approaching retirement. Do you know anything about this? . I would like to know about the job opportunities available post-graduation since I will be taking loans to cover the cost of my studies. Can you help me with it?
