Clinical Mental Health Counseling Programs

Hello! 

I am planning on applying to PhD programs in Counseling Psychology in the upcoming fall, but I have realized that if I am not accepted, I would love to get my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and begin working.

Therefore, I need to find good programs that offer assistantships!

Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, can someone please share their experiences with Clinical Mental Health programs?

I've looked up a lot of programs, but I am not interested in any program that does not offer funding.
