Supermind
Hi. I am a newbie looking for some advice. I attempted GRE last August, and scored 164V/154Q; 4.5 AWA. I am an international student, and my TOEFL score is 117/120. I wish to apply for Psychology/Neuroscience grad programs. My first choice is Princeton or Duke. But I am open to other options as well. Is it good if I retook the GRE and tried to raise my Quant. score?
AnonNeuroGrad
Your GRE doesn't generally matter although tour quant is pretty low; it won't get you disqualified if your other stats are strong but it will be a reason to deny you if they're deciding between you and another candidate. Going for top-tier places like Princeton or Duke, it will really depend on your other stats.
Supermind
Thanks for saying that. So, it might be worthwhile to attempt GRE again, and hopefully, both my scores go up this time.
