  1. Any tips on how does one address the lack of research experience in a proper lab, under a professor? For example, if I have a wealth of work experience in a field, and have gained a deep understanding through direct interactions, but haven't really been part of a lab/research group as such, how do I address this in my SOP? Can I still apply for a PhD program, or will I be rejected right away?
  2. Would anyone who has been accepted into a Psychology program this season be willing to PM me their SOP? I have been rejected from all places I applied to. So, I need to go back to the drawing board, and figure out what went wrong before the next admissions season.
  3. Thanks for saying that. So, it might be worthwhile to attempt GRE again, and hopefully, both my scores go up this time.
  4. Hi. I am a newbie looking for some advice. I attempted GRE last August, and scored 164V/154Q; 4.5 AWA. I am an international student, and my TOEFL score is 117/120. I wish to apply for Psychology/Neuroscience grad programs. My first choice is Princeton or Duke. But I am open to other options as well. Is it good if I retook the GRE and tried to raise my Quant. score?
