Any tips on how does one address the lack of research experience in a proper lab, under a professor? For example, if I have a wealth of work experience in a field, and have gained a deep understanding through direct interactions, but haven't really been part of a lab/research group as such, how do I address this in my SOP? Can I still apply for a PhD program, or will I be rejected right away?
Would anyone who has been accepted into a Psychology program this season be willing to PM me their SOP? I have been rejected from all places I applied to. So, I need to go back to the drawing board, and figure out what went wrong before the next admissions season.
Hi.
I am a newbie looking for some advice. I attempted GRE last August, and scored 164V/154Q; 4.5 AWA. I am an international student, and my TOEFL score is 117/120. I wish to apply for Psychology/Neuroscience grad programs. My first choice is Princeton or Duke. But I am open to other options as well. Is it good if I retook the GRE and tried to raise my Quant. score?
