Hungrybungry Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 Hi I just received GRE Chemistry score that I took last month. Since most of the schools only "highly recommend" the score, I was going to submit it only if I think the result is strong enough. However, I did poorly on the test than I expected(around 60%), and now I'm pondering if I should submit my scores anyway. Can anyone share their standard of a reportable score? Thanks!
struggleknot Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Domestic applicant (USA) here, 800 (79%, my score) is considered "excellent" according to my very reputable PI.
andrew001237 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Yes I think as a domestic applicant anything above 50% you should submit.
